Migration Celebration is both an educational and a fun family event. Our intent is a program that is both informative and fun for all ages.
Activities are centered at the San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge but formally start with a fundraising dinner and featured speaker on Friday evening, April 15th, at RiverPlace in the Freeport Municipal Park.
With the exception of the Friday fundraising activities, all other Migration Celebration events, tours, presentations, and other activities are open to the public without charge. This is made possible by the generous donations of time and money by our sponsors, partner organizations and volunteers.
Amazing Adventures are among our most popular activities, so we urge you to register in advance. To register, send us an email message at information@migrationcelebration.org or call 866-403-5829. Please provide the name of the Amazing Adventure and the number of persons attending. If space is still available, we also accept registrations on Friday and Saturday.
Registration is also required for certain other events, including Marsh Buggy rides, Moccasin Pond Van Tours, and Kayak trips. Marsh Buggies rides are particularly popular, so we suggest you register as early as possible. Please register for these events at the Information Booth on Saturday and Sunday. Free shuttle vans to these events are available.
