There are many different organizations that partner with the Friends of the Brazoria Wildlife Refuges and the Mid-Coast National Wildlife Refuge Complex to bring you Migration Celebration.   These organizations provide advice, volunteers, speakers, exhibits, promotion of the event and many other valuable services.


Brazos Mall

Brazos Mall is the only mall in Brazoria County, with over 70 great stores such as Aeropostale, American Eagle Outfitters, Hot Topic, Hibbett Sports, The Children’s Place, 14 Screen Starplex Cinemas, Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works, and draws customers from a 50-mile radius.  Brazos Mall is located about 45 minutes south of Houston at Hwy 332 and FM 2004 in Lake Jackson, Texas and is anchored by Dillard’s, JCPenney, Sears and ROSS Dress for Less.


Brazosport Birder’s and Naturalists

BB&N is an organization based in southern Brazoria County whose primary focus is birding and conservation of our natural resources. Meetings are open to the public. Don't worry about skill levels. We are a collection of novice to very experienced birders and naturalists. We welcome everyone to join us.


Brazosport Convention & Visitors Council

Brazosport, located on the Texas Gulf Coast, is where Texas began, where the first deep-water port was established and where the Republic of Texas' first capital was located near modern-day West Columbia. The Brazosport area is known for its diversity, rich history, and natural beauty.

Gulf Coast Bird Observatory

GCBO is an independent non-profit organization. We have designed and conducted a significant number of large conservation projects, including migration studies, habitat enhancement, land acquisition, regional habitat mapping, and others.


Gulf Coast Wildlife Rescue

GCWR is a non-profit organization of permitted wildlife rehabilitators and volunteers dedicated to caring for injured and orphaned wildlife for the purpose of release back into the wild. We serve the Brazoria/Matagorda County area along the upper Texas Gulf Coast. We provide food, shelter, medical treatment, and rehabilitation to all Texas native wildlife at no cost to the public.


HEART (Help Endangered Animals - Ridley Turtles)

HEART was organized in 1982 to save the Kemp's ridley sea turtle (Lepidochelys kempi) from extinction by educating the public and supporting conservation laws that protect sea turtles. HEART serves as an educational referral source for teachers and students seeking information about the Kemp's ridleys and all sea turtles.


Natural Resources Conservation Service

Since 1935, the NRCS (originally called the Soil Conservation Service) has provided leadership in a partnership effort to help America's private land owners and managers conserve their soil, water, and other natural resources. The Brazoria County office is located in the Wells Fargo Bank Building in Angleton.


Pearland Town Center

Pearland Town Center is a major shopping destination in the Houston area. The Center is located on State Highway FM 518 approximately 0.4 miles west of State Highway 288.


Sea Center Texas

SCT houses graphic displays, aquaria and educational displays of the marine life of Texas bays and Gulf Waters. Here, visitors learn about stewardship of the environment and its occupants. A collection of fiberglass replicas of state record saltwater fishes including a blue marlin, shark, dolphin, and tarpon hover overhead in the lobby. SCT is a unit of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.


Texas Master Naturalists Cradle of Texas Chapter

The Cradle of Texas Chapter is based in Brazoria County. We meet at the County Extension office in Angleton at 9:00 am on the second Wednesday of each month. Our membership is composed of people from diverse backgrounds with different experience, different expertise and different needs. Yet we are pulled together with the desire to positively affect our natural environment and our natural ecology.
