If you enjoy the outdoors, seeing wildlife, and exploring your local wildlife refuge, taking photos of nature can make the experience all the more fun.

Plus, you can enter those great nature photos in the Migration Celebration photo contest.   For three times during Migration Celebration weekend we will offer a beginning workshop on nature photography.   The workshop is for beginners, for kids, for families, or if you just want to share in the fun of photographing Bobcat Woods.

We will start the workshop by reviewing concepts of composition and exposure and then look at some good and bad examples of nature photography.   Most of the workshop will involve wandering Bobcat woods trail and along Wolfweed pond taking photos.   Participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras and insect repellent.   Only modest walking will be involved on level ground.   If you don't have a camera we will have some available for checkout, but bring a flash drive if you want the photos.

Each workshop is limited to 12 people.
